At BlueWave Medicine, we offer Bioidentical Hormone Balancing as well as other options and treatments for women in the perimenopausal and menopausal state. Our goal is to improve your symptoms and quality of life during this important phase of life using state-of-the-art testing that helps personalize treatment options to your needs and circumstances.
We recognize many symptoms occur much earlier than previously appreciated with women experiencing changes in sleep, and mood as well as hair loss early in the transition. Classic symptoms include hot flashes, night sweats, changes in mental acuity, decreased libido, gynecological and genitourinary. In addition, we recognize that hormone balancing can improve cognition and overall brain health, metabolic, cardiovascular, and bone health.
This is a four-visit package. We start with an initial consultation that includes comprehensive medical history and symptom-review. We do extensive laboratory testing and analysis to customize treatment options to your needs. We offer serum, saliva and urine hormone and metabolic testing as well as imaging studies, when necessary.
During the remaining visits, we review lab and related test results in detail and prescribe the appropriate bioidentical hormone regimen. Supplements and lifestyle changes will also be recommended to help improve your quality of life and provide symptom relief.
The remaining visits allow us to make modifications to the prescribed dose and frequency of the medications / supplements as well as lifestyle treatment plan to ensure optimum symptom management.
Additional add-on visits can always be scheduled if needed to refine your treatment plan based on your symptoms and life stressors.
